MUMA provides Tikanga Maori courses for NZ corrections. The courses are both tane and wahine who are currently being supervised by the Department of Corrections and involve a mix of tikanga and modern day living subject matters.

 MUMA insists on whanau involvement at all times and this is seen as being the key to the course's success. Whanau support the attendees at their graduation. The courses are incredibly well received by the attendees and are having a significant impact on their lives.
