Begin your journey with us
We are specialists in providing wraparound services to vulnerable whānau, having served our community for over three decades. We connect you with services, trusted community organisations and agencies, whether it be to enrol your tamariki into early childcare, open up a bank account, or if you need support with the Vulnerable Childrens Agency or WINZ, finances or have family concerns.
The key aim of Whānau Ora is to help whānau move from a state of dependency into independent, resilient and determined contributors of our community.
Our in-depth knowledge of our community shapes the way that we work with whānau. Our kaimahi will walk alongside you and your whānau to ensure you get the support you need, so that you can get on with living.
Our services on offer include:
Kaiārahi Navigational and Advocacy Support - engaging with whānau and helping them access key community resources and agencies
Building Financial Capability - providing sound budgeting advice to support whānau through financial hardship
Food Bank - in partnership with Auckland City Mission, we give a helping hand to whānau in their time of need with kai packages
Whānau Direct - through Te Pou Matakana, we can provide support to access resources in 'moments that matter', helping to build whānau capacity and capability
